A few shutter tips:
- Polywood’s most popular color is Snow White.
- 3.5” louvers are most popular, with 4.5” louvers also inquired about.
- Chose a standard tilt rod for a farmhouse or conventional style room, and hidden tilt for a more modern style.
- Split tilt and divider rails are exciting options when you want to close the bottom louvers for privacy while tilting open the top louvers to let in light.
- As for frames, the main approach is if you have trim/casing around your windows, use the Decorative L, Flat L, or Standard L. No casing or trim: all frames will work.
- If you use a sill piece at the base of your window—usually wood or marble—be sure to select “with Sill” so you can see the sill frame that would sit on top of your sill piece.
